Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was when he was in college. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared in films and TV, but it was his character on the smaller screen that earned him a cult fans. He's able to easily play characters who are from both sides of law to grab an audience's attention. He portrayed the role of one of the killers in his debut television show however he later went on perform the role of an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen appearances. His signature piercing, blue eyes which are said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to convey rough characters in a captivating manner. His name was included in the People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
